Welcome to Journalism Courses, the trilingual distance learning program of the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas at the University of Texas at Austin Moody College of Communication School of Journalism. Here you will find a variety of training opportunities to help journalists improve their abilities and adapt to the new media ecosystem created by the digital revolution. The Knight Center is the world leader in massive online courses in English, Portuguese and Spanish. We have reached more than 294,000 students with our massive online courses since 2012, and our pioneer distance learning program started in 2003.The Knight Centerâs Journalism Courses program offers two kinds of training: Instructor-led courses that are available during a specific time-frame (usually four to six weeks) and self-directed courses. For the instructor-led courses, students need to register themselves in the courses and then they gain access to the learning materials and can interact with other students and the instructor(s) while the course is taking place.
