More than 100 years ago, the Japanese brought coffee cultivation to Taiwan, and coffee culture is present today. Despite this history, coffee from Taiwan is not well-known in Japan nowadays. Yet Taiwanese coffee was once viewed as a precious gem and was even served to the emperor of Japan.
