The Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP SAFETY) is Australia and New Zealand's independent voice on vehicle safety. ANCAP crash tests cars and conducts performance assessments on vehicle safety features and technologies and then publishes star ratings to indicate relative safety performance to consumers.
