Crypto-currency mining is plagued with a bad name. It takes a lot of compute-power to solve incredibly hard cryptographic puzzles to resolve block locations on a Proof-of-Work blockchain. However, two converging factors have made our mining rigs possible: The cost, effectiveness, and ability to store large amounts of free-to-use solar power, and the decrease in watt-per-hash of modern ASICÂ miners.
